This unique framed set of woodcuts shows the evolution of Rhoades print, Nursing Mother, from its first to its final state.



This shows the artist's wife, Joan and their only child, Peter. Judging by the age of the baby, this image would have been conceived in 1938 when they were still living in London at Greville Road, Kilburn
