A straightforward reminder of the old butter-churn – the dairy-maid spent hours moving the long stick around until the butter solidified out of the creamy milk. This would connect with c) which is probably the interior of a dairy. Again I’d bet these are all from the 20’s and probably made in France or Yugoslavia.
