This drawing is a study for the female figure in the small bronze group
Kennington exhibited at the Leicester Galleries in October 1929 entitled
Unity.
Two further studies (both dated 1929), showing a frontal and three
quarter view of the same model, are listed in the Witt Library as
Kennington Family Collection, ref. A94/479 and no. 131 A94/458.
