Bone attended the Slade between 1922 and 1924.  The name Henry Tonks appears humorously  over the Confectioner's  shop  whilst R. Schwarbe Stamps Bought and Sold appears alongside - intriguingly this refers to Tonks eventual (1930) successor at the Slade.  Bone's  1928 mural for Piccadilly Circus Underground Station evolved around  a similar theme of High Street shop fronts.
