First teaching at the at Manchester College of Art and then was head of Malvern School of Art, 1962-80, Moody was fascinated by the artist's working space. This drawing, used  to illustrate The Painters Workshop  - An Exploration of the Studio  -shows the idea space needed for a correctly proportioned portrait studio.
