This is possibly a design for the decoration of  a children's nursery.  Along with Barbara Jones Adshead was the most signifcant woman muralist of her generation.  Adshead trained at the Slade where  she won joint first price with Rex Whislter in 1924. They both went on to work on their own murals at the Highways boys club in Shadwell.
