Wade's best know public works include his equestrian statue of Earl Haig once a familiar landmark on Castle Hill, Edinburgh, (now relocated within the Castle ground), and the young girl of the Embankment fountain (a replica of one for the Women's World Temperance Association), and the Cameron Highlander atop his war memorial in Inverness.
