TOGETHER WITH A RELATED WORK.
In the 1960's Finney went on a teaching exchange for one year with the University of Wisconsin in the USA. Crossing on the QE2 he lived in Milwaukee for a year. Stimulated by his new environment his artistic energy flourished and he produced a vibrant body of new work. He also formed long lasting friendships with well known artists such as Joe Freibert and Danny Pierce, drawing, like them scenes around Chicago.
