Sketch of Gladiolus tristis, together with unconnected studies of heads, etc. The artist's definitive drawing of Gladiolus tristis appeared on p.102 of Gardeners' Choice (Routledge, London, 1937), written and illustrated jointly by Dunbar and Charles Mahoney.
