Phyllis Austin (Kneafcy), a Canadian Opera singer, married Frederick Austin in 1932.
Phyllis was the subject of a number of portraits by Austin
Austins best known etching shows the newly-wed Phyllis sleeping in the cabin of the Cunard ship on which they sailed from Canada in 1932 on their honeymoon.
