Alec Dunbar, the younger and of the artist’s two brothers, inherited their father William’s entrepreneurial spirit, but not always to the same good effect. It was to Alec Dunbar that
Roger Folley, the artist’s husband, consigned the contents of her studio after her death in 1960.
