Provenance: the collection of Count William de Belleroche

Frank and Lucy Brangwyn - who had no children of their own - were passionate about dogs. They even had rice pudding for lunch every day, not because they liked it, but because their dog Jock did. A tombstone design by Brangwyn (collection of prints and drawings, V&A) is embellished with a wreath of sausages. We are grateful to Libby Horner for assistance.
