Malvern, a spa town and civil parish in Worcestershire, is an area of outstanding natural beauty that has a long tradition of attracting artists.   Paintings of Malvern can be found in the collection of  The Royal Academy, (Little Malvern Church by Joseph Farington) , The Courtauld (Robert Witt) and the Victoria and Albert Museum, ( Joseph Powell's Great Malvern Priory).
